Secret Cinema Presents: Dirty Dancing
The Brief
In 2016, Kellermans arrived in Leyton for the perfect summer night out.
5,000 people per night joined us in period 1960s garb to sing, swing and dance the night away. Armed with beach balls, hula-hoops and watermelons, our cha-cha loving audience joined together for an immersive shared experience of the ultimate click-flick.
The Delivery:
As our first outdoor collaboration with the incredible and innovative Secret Cinema, Entourage were the technical production partner for this epic Dirty Dancing experience, supporting them in bringing their vision to life through our trademark detail-oriented project management and creative problem solving.
For Secret Cinema Presents: Dirty Dancing, our team delivered technical and site production including overseeing the lighting, audio and video design and operation as well as the scenic and art departments. We managed the technical CAD design of the show, and coordinated the design and build of temporary structures, rigging and all construction elements as well as construction Health & Safety.
We have since partnered with Secret Cinema on numerous productions that have seen a combined audience of over 500,000 people visit immersive worlds ranging in locations ranging from abandoned warehouses to public parks. As their brand has grown and their reputation gone from strength to strength, we worked closely with the Secret Cinema team to creatively solve the practical problems that need to be overcome to deliver their world leading immersive experiences.
